Hi, I'm Chelsea.
Senior brand producer, award-winning filmmaker, interdisciplinary thinker.
I make films that travel the festival circuit and campaigns that reach millions — and I've never believed those two things have to live in separate rooms. The budgets change. The question never does: why should anyone care, and how do I make sure they do?
I grew up in Shanghai, surrounded by art — my grandparents at their ink painting and calligraphy, weekends at movies and exhibitions, a childhood poured into piano, photography, and bellet. Film became the place where all of it converged. I followed it to the University of British Columbia, where I learned the thing I still build everything around: an image isn't just something you look at — it's a container for feeling.
My short films sit where the personal meets the urgent. I Will Keep Your Light, which I wrote, directed, and produced, earned a Leo Award and traveled the international festival circuit. Today I bring that same cinematic instinct to brand work — leading national and international campaigns for TELUS, and producing for global brands including Volvo, Uniqlo, and Trip.com across four continents.
I produce big and direct close: tight timelines, high stakes, and a stubborn refusal to let cinematic language get lost in the rush for clicks.
